Bellinzona (italiano: Bellinzona, francés: Bellence, alemán: Bellenz, latín: Bilitio) es la capital del cantón de Ticino en Suiza.
El municipio está situado a una altitud de 238 metros, tiene 17,286 habitantes (diciembre de 2004) y cubre 1984 hectáreas (19.84 km²).
La ciudad se encuentra al este del río Ticino, que dio nombre al cantón. La ciudad de Bellinzona es un centro de transporte desde el cual se pueden alcanzar los pasos alpinos de San Gotardo, Lukmanier, San Bernardino y Nufenen.
En 1475, la ciudad fue mencionada por primera vez en un documento del duque de Milán.
Entre los lugares de interés se encuentran los tres castillos de la ciudad, que son parte del Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO. Hay varios museos e iglesias.
