Kormakitis es un pequeño pueblo en la República Turca del Norte de Chipre. Kormakitis es uno de los cuatro pueblos tradicionalmente maronitas en Chipre, los otros tres son Asomatos, Agia Marina y Karpaseia.[2] Los maronitas de Kormakitis tradicionalmente hablan su propia variedad única de Árabe llamado Árabe chipriota maronita , además de griego y turco.[3] Cabo Kormakitis lleva el nombre del pueblo.
