Borstendorf es una aldea y antiguo municipio en el estado alemán de Sajonia. El municipio formaba parte del Erzgebirgskreis. El municipio era parte de la "Verwaltungsverband Wildenstein".
Borstendorf tiene 1302 habitantes. A partir de 2015, el antiguo municipio se incorporó al municipio de Grünhainichen.
El municipio de Borstendorf es un conocido "Waldhufendorf". El límite municipal occidental está formado por el río "Flöha". Desde aquí, a una altura de aproximadamente 330 m sobre el nivel del mar, el pueblo se extiende hasta el límite oriental a una altura de aproximadamente 500 m sobre el nivel del mar. Al este de Borstendorf se encuentra el "Röthenbacher Wald"
