Wiesensteig es una ciudad en el distrito de Göppingen en Baden-Württemberg, en el extremo sureste de la región de Stuttgart.
Wiesensteig se encuentra en el valle superior del Fils, en el área de la Suabia media, a una altura de 561 a 829 metros en el distrito de Göppingen. En el borde de la ciudad se encuentra la subida de Alb de la A 8 en dirección a Ulm. El área de la ciudad está marcada de suroeste a noreste por un valle de hasta 200 metros de profundidad, en el que brotan varias fuentes kársticas que se unen al curso del Fils. Las mesetas redondeadas pertenecientes a la Filsalb al norte del valle descienden hacia el sur hacia la gran zona de colinas de la Suabia media cerca de Laichingen.
