El castillo de Schönecken es la ruina de un castillo en altura a 467 m sobre el nivel del mar, sobre la localidad homónima de Schönecken en el valle de Nim en la Eifel occidental en Renania-Palatinado.
El castillo se encontraba en la cresta montañosa más baja en medio de un cuenco montañoso. La edificación está rodeada de montañas más altas que la protegen por todos los lados.
