Moritzberg es un barrio en el oeste de Hildesheim. Junto con los asentamientos Waldquelle, Godehardikamp y Bockfeld, forma uno de los 14 lugares de la ciudad. El antiguo pueblo de la iglesia fue incorporado en 1911.
Al norte, Moritzberg limita con Himmelsthür, que está separado de Moritzberg por la B 1. En 2011, el barrio de Moritzberg junto con Godehardikamp y Bockfeld, así como el barrio de la ciudad adyacente al este, West, con el barrio de Steinberg, que se extiende desde Schützenwiese en el norte hasta el área boscosa de Steinberg en el sur, se unieron para formar un barrio llamado Moritzberg. Al oeste hay extensas áreas verdes y boscosas en el área de Gallberg – Rottsberg – Lärchenberg, y al sur se encuentra la antigua aldea de Neuhof. Todos pertenecen al distrito de la ciudad de Neuhof/Hildesheimer Wald.
