Elsava es un afluente derecho de aproximadamente 25 km de longitud del Meno en los distritos de Aschaffenburg y Miltenberg en el Spessart bávaro.
El nombre original Elsapha proviene de la palabra en alto alemán antiguo Els que significa aliso y de la palabra indoeuropea Ap, que significa agua. La explicación resulta en "un cauce de agua formado por alisos". El río dio su nombre a la localidad de Elsenfeld. El río Aschaff, que fluye cerca, y la Els que atraviesa la Rhön también tienen un origen de nombre similar.
