El Burgstall Wichsenstein es el resto de un antiguo castillo noble en un acantilado abrupto sobre la aldea de Wichsenstein en el distrito de Forchheim, en Baviera. El castillo ha desaparecido por completo, no quedan restos que lo atesten, la roca del castillo sirve como mirador.
El Burgstall de la Gipfelburg se encuentra en la zona central de la Suiza Franconia, una parte de la cordillera media Frankenjura, en el monumento natural Wichsensteiner Fels, una cumbre rocosa a unos 587 m sobre el nivel del mar en el borde norte del pueblo de Wichsenstein, aproximadamente 20 metros por encima de la aldea y unos 60 metros al norte-noroeste de la iglesia parroquial católica de San Erhard y a unos 15 kilómetros al noreste de Forchheim.
