En el Burgstall Spies se encontraba un antiguo castillo nobiliario de la alta Edad Media sobre el pueblo de Spies en el municipio de Betzenstein, en el distrito de Bayreuth, en Franconia Alta. Solo quedan muy pocos restos de la muralla que dan testimonio de su existencia.
El antiguo castillo en altura se encuentra en la Franconia del norte, en la cima del monte en forma de cono Spieser Schlossberg, que tiene 616,4 m sobre el nivel del mar y cuyo pico se eleva unos 50 metros por encima del lugar. El Burgstall se encuentra inmediatamente al norte de la localidad de Spies y a unos cinco kilómetros al sur de Betzenstein.
