La Rauschenburg es un castillo de agua desaparecido en los prados de Lippe, en el borde de la pequeña ciudad de Olfen, en el distrito de Coesfeld, en Renania del Norte-Westfalia. Su nombre puede deberse al eterno murmullo de los antiguos rápidos en este lugar del Lippe.
La mansión de caballeros Rauschenburg fue mencionada por primera vez en 1050, cuando el primer propietario fue un funcionario del obispo Ludwig Landgrave de Hesse de Múnster, que aparece en 1317. En 1322, el obispo de Colonia, Heinrich von Virneburg, y el obispo de Múnster firmaron un contrato que decidía la construcción de un puente sobre el Lippe en la Rauschenburg. Los señores territoriales de entonces confirmaron este contrato nuevamente en 1444 y 1498.
