Se encuentra en el borde sur del centro de la ciudad de Münster, directamente en la promenade. El centro de la plaza es una gran rotonda de dos carriles, que representa uno de los nodos de tráfico más importantes en Münster. En total, seis calles conducen hacia él o desde él, de las cuales las cuatro principales calles de tráfico son Moltkestraße, Hammer Straße, Hafenstraße y Schorlemerstraße. La calle Am Kanonengraben corre paralela a la promenade, mientras que la Ludgeristraße lleva al centro de Münster. Las calles Moltke y Hammer también son parte de la carretera federal 54.
