El Castillo Schönburg es un castillo altivo del siglo XII situado en la localidad alemana de Oberwesel, en Renania-Palatinado, a orillas del Rin.
La construcción del castillo comenzó en la primera mitad del siglo XII. No está claro si el castillo fue construido por el arzobispo o como castillo imperial. En 1149, el castillo apareció en las fuentes como feudo de Herman van Stahleck, quien hizo ejecutar a su rival por el condado del Rin, Otto II de Rheineck, en esta fortaleza. En el siglo XIV, Schönburg se convirtió en una plaza fuerte de la Electorado de Tréveris.
