La Bumannsburg, también conocida como Bummannsburg, es el resto de una antigua fortificación en el lado sur del río Lippe en el distrito de Rünthe de la ciudad de Bergkamen en Renania del Norte-Westfalia, que data de alrededor del año 800. No se menciona en ninguna fuente. Se realizaron excavaciones en 1898 y 1978. El desarrollo de la vegetación del primer milenio en el entorno de la Bumannsburg revela, según un estudio de polen de 2006, tres secciones, a saber, una de la época imperial con un uso de la tierra inicialmente más romano y luego de los germanos del Rin y del Weser, seguido de la reforestación después del 300, y finalmente la expansión territorial en la época medieval temprana a partir del 700 d.C.
