El Wutzsee es un lago de hasta 18 metros de profundidad en el borde de la ciudad de Lindow en el distrito de Ostprignitz-Ruppin. Su superficie es de 90 hectáreas. La salida del lago, el Lindower Stadtfließ, impulsaba el molino del monasterio mencionado ya en 1530. A través de este desagüe, el lago también está conectado con el cercano lago Gudelack. Está prohibido navegar en el lago con motores de barcos.
El lago está rodeado por un sendero de caminatas bien señalizado, que en su mayor parte se sitúa a unos cinco metros sobre el nivel del agua. Dar un paseo alrededor del lago tarda de dos a tres horas; el camino está flanqueado por muchos bancos para sentarse.
