La fortaleza de Dömitz es una fortaleza en Mecklemburgo-Pomerania Occidental. Se encuentra estratégicamente ubicada a orillas del Elba en la ciudad de Dömitz.
Protegida por el Elba, en el siglo XIII se construyó un castillo redondo en un lugar elevado y libre de inundaciones. Poco se ha conservado de los edificios, que fueron construidos con piedras de campo y ladrillos. Se han documentado los cimientos de una torre redonda en las excavaciones realizadas en el patio de la fortaleza. La sustancia del edificio del palacio y de una torre situada unos metros al oeste aún se encuentra en la parte inferior del actual edificio del museo.
