La reserva natural de Limberg y Offelter Berg se encuentra en la ciudad de Preußisch Oldendorf, en el distrito de Minden-Lübbecke, en Ostwestfalen. Tiene aproximadamente 186,1 ha de tamaño y se clasifica con la denominación MI-027.
Se encuentra en el extremo este de la Egge, una cordillera secundaria de los Montes Wiehen, y está rodeada por las localidades de los distritos de Preußisch Oldendorf en el noroeste, Offelten en el norte, Bad Holzhausen en el este y Börninghausen en el sur. Las áreas de las montañas que dan nombre a la reserva, el Limberg y el Offelter Berg, son en su mayoría parte de la zona protegida. En la reserva natural nace el arroyo Landwehrbach.
