El gimnasio Haranni en Herne es una escuela pública tanto para niños como para niñas. El nombre "Haranni" es el antiguo nombre latino de la ciudad de Herne.
La escuela alberga a 630 estudiantes y un cuerpo docente de 57 miembros. La directora es Nicole Nowak. Las escuelas asociadas del gimnasio Haranni se encuentran en Thiais cerca de París, Wakefield, así como en Konin y Zagórów. Se realizan intercambios estudiantiles regularmente con dichas escuelas. Desde 2011, también se ofrece un viaje de estudios a Oxford en el 10º grado.
