La caserna Von-Seydlitz en Kalkar/Uedem en el Beginenberg es una caserna de la Bundeswehr y es el cuartel general del Centro de Operaciones Aéreas. Lleva el nombre del general de caballería prusiano Friedrich Wilhelm von Seydlitz.
Desde 1969, Kalkar es una ubicación de la Bundeswehr. En la caserna Von-Seydlitz en el barrio de Altkalkar se encuentran oficinas de la fuerza aérea y de la NATO, en particular el Centro de Operaciones Aéreas, el grupo de apoyo de la fuerza aérea de Kalkar, el área de apoyo de mando 3, el centro de suministros médicos de Kalkar y el Centro de Competencia de Potencia Aérea Conjunta.
