La isla Buhnenwerder es una isla en el Beetzsee, que pertenece a la ciudad de Brandeburgo sobre Havel, frente al pueblo de Lünow. Desde 1930, ha sido designada como el área protegida isla de gaviotas Buhnenwerder. En la isla hay un montículo denominado Burgwall. Debido a hallazgos arqueológicos, partes de la isla están declaradas como monumento a la antigüedad. Junto a Buhnenwerder en el Beetzsee, dentro del área de la ciudad de Brandeburgo, hay otra isla llamada Buhnenwerder entre los lagos Plauer, Breitling y Möserscher.
Buhnenwerder se encuentra en la parte norte de los tres estanques del lago Beetzsee, que históricamente también ha sido llamado lago de Lünow o lago de Bagow. Al igual que el Beetzsee en toda su extensión, Buhnenwerder forma parte del territorio de la ciudad independiente de Brandeburgo. Tiene un tamaño de aproximadamente siete hectáreas, con una longitud de aproximadamente 450 metros y un ancho de aproximadamente 230 metros.
