El Norderbootfahrt es un canal en la península de Eiderstedt. El canal, construido en 1612, iba desde Tönning en la desembocadura del Eider hasta Tetenbüll. A través de un canal de conexión con el Süderbootfahrt se pudieron alcanzar Garding y Katingsiel. El Norder- y el Süderbootfahrt unieron el interior de Eiderstedt con el mar del Norte por vía acuática, lo que contribuyó, sobre todo, al auge del puerto de Tönning como el puerto más importante de la región.
