El Multimar Wattforum en Tönning es el centro de información más grande para el Parque Nacional del Mar de Wadden de Schleswig-Holstein. Fue inaugurado en 1999 y se amplió por primera vez en enero de 2003.
Su propósito es informar a los visitantes del parque nacional sobre la vida en el mar de Wadden en las diversas áreas. Además, los acuarios del Wattforum – 11 acuarios grandes y 17 acuarios especiales con un volumen total de 150 m³ – sirven como lugar de cría para especies en peligro de extinción. Así, con caballitos de mar de la especie Hippocampus guttulatus, capturados en el mar de Wadden, se logró una cría en verano de 2004, pese a que se creía que estaban extintos en el mar del Norte. También se ha conseguido la reproducción de tiburones gato.
