El Nims es un afluente de aproximadamente 61 km de longitud, orográficamente situado a la izquierda del Prüm en la Südeifel, en el distrito de Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm en Renania-Palatinado.
El Nims nace a una altitud de aproximadamente 575 m sobre el nivel del mar en Weinsheim, luego sigue en dirección suroeste a través del idílico valle que lleva el mismo nombre y desemboca por la izquierda en el Prüm a una altura de aproximadamente 169 m sobre el nivel del mar, debajo de Irrel.
