El castillo de Großkmehlen se encuentra en la localidad de Großkmehlen, en el sur de Brandeburgo, en el distrito de Oberspreewald-Lausitz. El castillo de agua, protegido como monumento, junto con sus edificios anexos, es propiedad de la GmbH de Castillos de Brandeburgo.
El castillo de agua está ubicado en un parque paisajístico de cuatro hectáreas, donde también se encuentra un pabellón. Al sur del castillo se encuentra la iglesia de San Jorge, también protegida como monumento. Cada segundo domingo de septiembre se celebra en el área el festival del castillo y del lúpulo con motivo del Día de los Monumentos Abiertos.
