El Tannenberg fue un cuartel general de Führer de Adolf Hitler, situado en los bosques en la cima del Kniebis, una montaña de 960 metros de altura en la Selva Negra. El cercano pueblo de Kniebis lleva el nombre de la montaña. El complejo fue construido en 1939 por encargo de la Organisation Todt por una serie de contratistas locales como parte de los preparativos para la invasión alemana de Francia.
