El Palacio Residencial Geyerswörth es un antiguo palacio urbano en el casco antiguo de Bamberg. Lleva el nombre de la familia Geyer de Nuremberg. En el año 1313, la familia patricia Geyer construyó aquí un palacio urbano, dándole así al lugar su nombre actual. En los años 1585/1586, la familia se trasladó a Nuremberg y cedió el edificio al entonces príncipe obispo de Bamberg, Ernst von Mengersdorf.
Después de 1585/1586, el príncipe obispo Ernst von Mengersdorf reformó la propiedad de la familia Geyer y construyó el actual castillo en estilo renacentista.
