El puente Itztal es un puente de la autopista 73 Suhl–Lichtenfels. La estructura se encuentra en Franconia Occidental, entre los lugares Rödental y Dörfles-Esbach, y atraviesa con dos vanos el valle del Itz, junto con la línea de tren Coburg–Sonneberg–Ernstthal en el Rennsteig y el sendero del duque. El puente de la autopista se encuentra a aproximadamente 25 m al oeste del puente ferroviario paralelo de la línea de alta velocidad Núremberg–Erfurt.
El puente de vigas de hormigón pretensado, que tiene una forma curva en planta, es con una longitud de 852 m la estructura más larga de la autopista 73. La altura máxima de la calzada sobre el lecho del valle es de 32 m. El puente de la autopista fue construido desde 2004 hasta mediados de 2007, con un costo de aproximadamente 21 millones de €.
