El Monzenbach es un afluente de 4,5 km de longitud, orográficamente derecho, del Aar, un afluente del Dill. Nace en el sur del bosque Schelder, en la ladera de Wickenhain, y fluye inicialmente entre el distrito de Oberscheld de Dillenburg y el distrito de Seelbach de Herborn en dirección oeste, luego hacia el sur, rodeando el lado norte y oeste del Volpertsberg del Aar. Antes de desembocar en el Aar, atraviesa la comarca de Seelbach. El arroyo desemboca en Aar-km 19,1 a una altura de 214 m sobre el nivel del mar.
