El campo de ejercicios de ubicación Koblenz-Schmidtenhöhe es una instalación militar en Koblenz. El campo de ejercicios de 776 hectáreas se encuentra en el distrito de Horchheimer Höhe, en una elevación de la cordillera de Westerwald que desciende hacia el valle del Rin, entre la ciudad de Koblenz y Fachbach. Partes de la instalación están hoy bajo protección natural y son gestionadas por el NABU (Asociación de Protección de la Naturaleza de Alemania). El paisaje de pastizales semiabiertos ofrece un hábitat para especies raras. El área es propiedad de la Agencia Federal de Gestión de Patrimonio Inmobiliario y está bajo el mando del Comando Regional de Renania-Palatinado. En septiembre de 2017, 235 hectáreas de Schmidtenhöhe fueron transferidas de forma permanente a la Fundación NABU de Patrimonio Natural Nacional.
