El arroyo Olewiger, que ha tenido sucesivamente las denominaciones de Oleigenbach, Franzenheimer Bach, Grundbach, Olewiger Bach y por último Altbach, es un afluente derecho de 15,6 km de largo del Mosela en Tréveris.
Nace entre Pellingen y Lampaden al pie del Dreikopf, fluye a través de Franzenheim y pasa por Hockweiler en dirección a Trier-Kernscheid. Luego alcanza Trier-Olewig y fluye hacia Trier-Heiligkreuz. En el valle de Altbach, había un distrito de templos gallo-romanos con aproximadamente 70 edificios individuales en una superficie de alrededor de 5 hectáreas, considerado uno de los mayores distritos culturales de Europa Central. Hoy en día, allí se encuentra una zona de jardines familiares.
