El Observatorio Hoher List es un observatorio situado a unos 60 km al sur-suroeste de Bonn, cerca de la ciudad de Daun, en la montaña Hoher List, ubicada en Eifel.
El observatorio de Bonn fue fundado por Friedrich Wilhelm August Argelander. Su amistad con el rey de Prusia, Friedrich Wilhelm IV, le ayudó en su construcción, la cual tuvo lugar entre 1840 y 1844 a cargo de Karl Friedrich Schinkel. Argelander es conocido por su famosa revisión estelar de Bonn, que resultó en un catálogo estelar con 325,000 estrellas, ingresando en los anales de la astronomía.
