Momberg es el barrio más grande de la ciudad de Neustadt después del centro urbano, situado en el distrito de Marburg-Biedenkopf en Hesse central. La localidad tiene aproximadamente 1100 habitantes y es una de las asentamientos más antiguos de Hesse. Está documentado que Winfried Bonifatius trabajó aquí.
Momberg, junto con la localidad vecina de Mengsberg, es el lugar más al noreste del distrito de Marburg-Biedenkopf. A unos 35 km de la ciudad del distrito de Marburg, Momberg se encuentra aproximadamente en el centro de la región montañosa entre Vogelsberg y Kellerwald. Situado en la divisoria de aguas entre el Rin y el Weser, el área limita al este con la frontera del distrito de Schwalm-Eder en Wiera, al norte con Mengsberg y al oeste con Speckswinkel. La frontera sur del área es la que limita con la ciudad de Neustadt.
