Uesen es un barrio de la ciudad de Achim en el distrito de Verden, que se encuentra a orillas del Weser. Uesen se sitúa entre el barrio de Baden, que se encuentra más al este, y el centro de Achim, que se extiende hacia el oeste.
En la actual zona de Uesen, se encontraba un cementerio de urnas de la Edad del Bronce tardía. Las urnas se conservan en el Museo Estatal de Baja Sajonia en Hannover y en la escuela primaria de Uesen. Además, se han documentado vestigios de asentamientos de la época sajona, aunque el lugar actual no surgió hasta la Edad Media.
