La ruta Alte Zechenzeugen y el "Mellenliet" se extiende a lo largo de unos once kilómetros desde el cementerio forestal, pasando por el punto más alto del Dickenberg y a lo largo de la Rudolfhalde, inicialmente a través del norte más bien llano. Luego, continúa alrededor del Uffelner Berg con sus canteras y finalmente a través del pintoresco Ossenliet, regresando al punto de partida.
