Candelaria es un municipio perteneciente a la provincia de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, en la isla de Tenerife —Canarias, España—.
El municipio es sede de la Virgen de Candelaria, patrona general de Canarias, por lo que es también denominado Villa Mariana de Candelaria. Está considerado como el lugar sagrado y de peregrinaje por excelencia del archipiélago.[1] Cada 2 de febrero y 14 y 15 de agosto miles de peregrinos de todas las islas llegan a la Villa Mariana para celebrar la fiesta de la patrona en la llamada «caminata a Candelaria».
