Cubelles llegó a las noticias de desastre en el verano de 2025
Dos personas desaparecieron tras repentinamente inundaciones causadas por fuertes lluvias. Las víctimas fueron arrastradas en Cubelles por el arroyo desbordado de Foix.
Según la agencia meteorológica española Aemet, en algunos lugares de Cataluña cayeron más de 100 milímetros de lluvia en pocas horas.
Las extremas condiciones climáticas se debieron a una DANA, es decir, una depresión aislada en gran altitud que trae consigo mucha energía y humedad. Esto no solo causa una caída de las temperaturas, sino que también aumenta la probabilidad de tormentas eléctricas con fuertes ráfagas de viento y lluvias intensas.
