San Pedro del Pinatar es un municipio situado en la comunidad autónoma de la Región de Murcia, en el sureste de España. Al encontrarse en las riberas del mar Mediterráneo y del Mar Menor dispone de gran atractivo turístico y ecológico. Al norte del municipio se encuentra el parque natural de las Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar.[1] Sus municipios colindantes son: San Javier y Pilar de la Horadada . En un radio de menos de 55 km se pueden encontrar tres ciudades de más de cien mil habitantes: Torrevieja, Cartagena y Murcia.
