AzureEsta es la quinta etapa de la ruta de aproximadamente 750 km desde Albacete en el este de España hasta Lisboa en Portugal.
Desde Almadén se conduce por carreteras tranquilas fuera de la provincia de Castilla-La Mancha. Desde una zona montañosa se desciende a una llanura en Extremadura. Se supone que esta llanura es un enorme embalse, pero está casi seca. Todo el recorrido sube y baja entre 350 y 650 metros de altitud. Especialmente entre Peñalsordo y Zarza-Capilla hay 2 km de escalada pesada. Allí el camino también se vuelve más ancho y concurrido. También los últimos 30 km entre Cabeza del Buey y Castuera son bastante concurridos y bastante monótonos.
