Los Humedales de La Mancha dan la bienvenida al viajero con sus lagunas más norteñas
Primera etapa del Camino Natural de los Humedales de La Mancha, con algo menos de 27 kilómetros por tierras toledanas. Dejando atrás Villacañas y sus característicos silos, el complejo lagunar del municipio se visita en su totalidad, comenzando por la Laguna Larga, continuando por la Laguna de Tirez, para finalizar en la Laguna de Peñahueca. Entre las dos últimas, el río Riánsares desemboca en el río Gigüela dando lugar a la Laguna del Taray, en el término municipal de Quero. Tras pasar las Lagunas y Albardinales del Gigüela el trazado llega al núcleo urbano de Quero, custodiado por su restaurado molino de viento.
