Este paseo te lleva a una de las principales atracciones de la zona de Málaga: un puente colgante de 50 m de largo y 1,20 m de ancho a 50 m sobre el lecho del río Almanchares. La ruta forma parte de la red de senderismo 'Gran Senda de Málaga' y conecta los municipios de Canillas de Aceituno y Sedella.

La primera parte se solapa con la clásica ruta de senderismo 'El Saltillo'. El tramo también es conocido como el 'Caminito del Rey de la comarca de la Axarquía'. Pero el verdadero Caminito del Rey se puede encontrar aquí.
