El castillo de Blois, situado en la comuna de Blois, departamento de Loir-et-Cher, es uno de los castillos del Loira que fueron declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco en 2000.[1] Fue la residencia favorita de los reyes de Francia durante el Renacimiento. En 1429, Juana de Arco fue bendecida en su capilla por el arzobispo de Reims, Renault de Chartres, antes de dirigirse a levantar el sitio de Orleans.
