Los acueductos en el Canal del Mediodía permiten que el canal interseccione y cruce arroyos naturales. Hay dos excepciones, la primera es el Acueducto de Herbettes donde cruza una autopista de cuatro carriles en Toulouse. Otra excepción es donde intersecta con el río Libron y el cruce se realiza a través de los Ouvrages du Libron.
