Pyronaut es una forma especializada de barco de bomberos conocido como flotador de fuego. Fue construido en 1934 por Charles Hill & Sons Ltd., Albion Dock Bristol, Número de Astillero 208. Número de registro 333833. Es propiedad de los Museos de Bristol y está basado en M Shed en el Puerto Flotante de Bristol.
Originalmente impulsado por dos motores diésel Petter Atomic con una potencia de 55 bhp cada uno. Dos bombas reciprocantes de tres cilindros Merryweather & Sons capaces de entregar 500 galones imperiales de agua por minuto.
