La Casa de Beneficencia Shee fue fundada por la familia Shee en 1582 "para alojar a doce personas pobres" en la ciudad de Kilkenny, Irlanda. Es una casa de beneficencia de la época Tudor de importancia nacional.
Sir Richard Shee fundó la casa de beneficencia, originalmente llamada el Hospital de Jesús, durante el periodo en el que la familia era una poderosa familia de comerciantes en Kilkenny. Creó la casa en 1582 y la dotó en su último testamento en 1603. Lucas Shee, su hijo, organizó una carta real para la casa de beneficencia que fue concedida el 4 de noviembre de 1609. En 1752, la casa de beneficencia fue vendida por su descendiente Edmond Shee. La familia fue despojada durante el periodo cromwelliano. Sin embargo, recuperaron el control y el poder en el siglo XVIII. Sir Nicholas Power O'Shee de Gardenmorris, Co. Waterford, recuperó la propiedad de la casa en 1756 y funcionó como casa de beneficencia hasta 1830.
