Aquilea o Aquileya , Acuilee o Aquilee en friulano, Oglej en esloveno) es un municipio italiano de 3487 habitantes en la provincia de Údine . Se trata de una antigua ciudad romana, en el mar Adriático al borde de las lagunas, alrededor de 10 kilómetros tierra adentro, sobre el río Natiso , cuyo curso ha cambiado algo desde los tiempos de los romanos.
