Busseto es una ciudad desde el año 1533 de 7099 habitantes ubicada en la provincia de Parma, en Emilia-Romagna en el norte de Italia.
Debe su celebridad principalmente a haber sido el hogar del compositor Giuseppe Verdi desde 1824. En 1976, el director Bernardo Bertolucci filmó allí la saga Novecento. Es sede de renombrados carnavales.
