La Diócesis Católica Romana de Susa, en Piamonte, fue establecida en 1772. Es una sufragánea de la arquidiócesis de Turín. La diócesis y la ciudad de Susa se encuentran en la ruta principal que conduce a Italia desde el Paso de Mont Cenis y el Col de Montgenèvre.
En los primeros días de la Edad Media, Susa parece haber pertenecido a la Diócesis de Maurienne, y no se separó de ella hasta después de la conquista de Italia por Carlomagno en 784. La Abadía de San Justo, habiendo sido erigida en 1029, el abad tenía jurisdicción casi episcopal. Los benedictinos fueron sucedidos por los Canónigos Regulares, y bajo el Papa Benedicto XIV los Canónigos Regulares fueron reemplazados por canónigos seculares. Ordenó que formaran un Capítulo Colegiado, consistiendo en cuatro dignidades y catorce Canónigos.
