El historiador y teólogo de Sciacca, Mario Ciaccio , escribió que este palacio se encontraba junto a la Porta di Mare, orientada al sur, fuera de las murallas de la ciudad.
Fue construido por Onofrio Cubici en el siglo XV con tres torres almenadas , según algunos para adaptar el escudo de su familia, que presentaba tres torres sobre un campo azul. La familia Cubici, en el caso de Sciacca junto a los Perollo, era una familia muy noble y en 1542 Baldassare Tagliavia y Diana Cubici se casaron por contrato. De este matrimonio nacieron muchos hijos, entre ellos GianCalogero Tagliavia Cubici, que se convirtió en caballero de Santo Stefano en Florencia.
La gente lo llamó Palacio Ramingaddu después de que pasó de la familia Cubici a los Inveges, barones de Rabingallo.
