El Kops Plateau, también conocido como Kopse Hof, es una alta llanura al este de Nijmegen. En la ribera sur del Waal, se encuentra en el morro que asciende de forma pronunciada desde el lecho del río. Los romanos supieron apreciar el valor de este morro, ya que se podía observar bien el Waal, el Rin y toda la zona hasta Arnhem.
