Niekerk es una localidad del municipio de Westerkwartier en la provincia de Groningen, en los Países Bajos. Niekerk cuenta con aproximadamente 1.385 habitantes y forma junto con Oldekerk una aldea doble.
Niekerk se encuentra en el riscaldado y la colina de arena donde también se encuentran las aldeas vecinas de Oldekerk y Faan. El antiguo eje del pueblo es el Zandumerweg. La parte noroeste del pueblo solía ser el vecindario De Wijk. Al noroeste de esta se encontraban consecutivamente los vecindarios Het Zand y Kroonsfeld. La parte sur del pueblo fue formada por el vecindario Smidshorn. Al oeste de Smidshorn todavía se encuentra el vecindario Eekeburen, donde se encuentra la piscina del mismo nombre y que conecta el pueblo con la aldea vecina de Oldekerk. En el lado este se encuentra la aldea de Faan.
