Dongjum es una aldea en Waadhoeke en la provincia de Friesland de los Países Bajos y tiene alrededor de 326 ciudadanos a partir de enero de 2014. Antes de 2018, la aldea era parte del municipio de Franekeradeel. Dongjum consta de un grupo de colinas artificiales de viviendas, sobre un antiguo banco de un cauce de agua. El área, como lo demuestra la investigación arqueológica, ya estaba ocupada en tiempos romanos. De la cerámica excavada en esa época, se deduce que los residentes eran bastante adinerados. Desde el final del Imperio Romano hasta el siglo V, el área estuvo deshabitada por completo.
